Starting wage for Journeyman Fire/Life/Safety Technician (Graduated Apprentice) is $38.00 - $48.00, with ample opportunity to earn higher State and Federal Prevailing Wage pay for qualified projects. Our company experiences planned, strategic, year-over-year growth which creates space for individual Technician training and career advancement.

REQUIREMENTS:
-WBFAA Graduated Apprentice and passed Certification Exam; 'Blue Card' CFLST
(or)
- Passed Journeyman Exam, holds 'Blue Card', and has completed WBFAA's Accelerated Apprentice program*
*We will consider applicants who hold their Blue Card but are not Graduated Apprentices, with a hiring condition that the applicant shall complete the Accelerated Apprentice program and pass their re-test within first year of employment with us.
-Customer-friendly demeanor; works well with a wide variety of personalities to build strong relationships and nurture life-long clients.
-Proud of your professional appearance, language, and behavior.
-Currently holds non-expired or is able to obtain BSIS Alarm Company Employee (ACE) card (Fingerprinted background check required to apply for ACE card)
-Currently holds or is able to obtain a valid Driver's License with clear DMV record (no major violations on record).
-Exceptional dependability & punctuality; demonstrates respect for and values other people's time.
-Experience installing, testing, and/or servicing commercial and residential Fire Life Safety Alarm Systems.
THOUGH NOT REQUIRED, PREFERENTIAL CONSIDERATION WILL BE HELD FOR APPLICANTS WHO ALSO POSSESS:
-Current or recent experience specifically with DMP, Notifier, FCI Gamewell, SilentKnight, Firelite, Honeywell, AES Radio, and/or Resideo Security, products.
-Experience Installing and/or Servicing: Intrusion Alarms, Access Control Systems, Surveillance Systems, and/or experience in related industry/trade such as Electrical, IT/Networks, Cable & Satellite TV, Low Voltage Systems Integration.
-NICET training and/or certification.
-Relevant construction trades experience.
-Project Management experience.
