Blue Bucket Group information

What is the Blue Bucket Group?

The Blue Bucket Group is a grassroots road safety initiative that originated in Russia. Its members place blue buckets on their car roofs to mimic the flashing lights used by officials, as a form of protest against the illegal and improper use of police lights by private citizens and government officials. The group raises awareness about road safety, corruption, and the abuse of official privileges. It has become a symbol of civil activism and has inspired similar movements in other countries.
