Associate Trader, Fixed Income โ Seattle
Salary Range: $100,000 USD โ $120,000 USD. Compensation is based on experience, skills, qualifications and other factors permitted by law. Responsibilities
- Collaborate with the Fixed Income trading team to execute a broad array of trading strategies in global markets, from global mandates to focused mandates across fixed income markets.
- Analyze trading performance against bestโexecution guidelines through preโtrade and postโtrade analysis.
- Develop and implement costโeffective trading strategies using risk models, optimization systems, and other analytical tools.
- Maintain ongoing communication with clients, investment managers, and portfolio managers, ensuring compliance with bestโpractice standards.
- Interface with various systems and operate multiple marketโfacing execution technologies.
Qualifications
- Bachelorโs degree in finance or a related field.
- 1โ2+ years of fixedโincome trading experience, preferably including international securities.
- Ability to study for and obtain SIE, Series7, 55, and 63 licenses.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Proficiency in Excel and SQL.
- Detailโoriented with excellent problemโsolving skills; driven selfโstarter.
- Knowledge of the Global Fixed Income Trading Marketplace and clearing infrastructure is preferred.
- Experience with electronic trading platforms such as Tradeweb, MarketAxess, Bloomberg, Liquidnet, TruMid, MTS, and Yieldbroker is preferred.
