Associate Trader, Fixed Income โ€“ Seattle

Salary Range: $100,000 USD โ€“ $120,000 USD. Compensation is based on experience, skills, qualifications and other factors permitted by law. Total rewards include an annual performance bonus (subject to eligibility criteria) and access to competitive benefits programs such as healthcare, retirement, vacation, and wellbeing.

Responsibilities
  • Collaborate with the Fixed Income trading team to execute a broad array of trading strategies in global markets, from global mandates to focused mandates across fixed income markets.
  • Analyze trading performance against bestโ€‘execution guidelines through preโ€‘trade and postโ€‘trade analysis.
  • Develop and implement costโ€‘effective trading strategies using risk models, optimization systems, and other analytical tools.
  • Maintain ongoing communication with clients, investment managers, and portfolio managers, ensuring compliance with bestโ€‘practice standards.
  • Interface with various systems and operate multiple marketโ€‘facing execution technologies.
Qualifications
  • Bachelorโ€™s degree in finance or a related field.
  • 1โ€“2+ years of fixedโ€‘income trading experience, preferably including international securities.
  • Ability to study for and obtain SIE, Series7, 55, and 63 licenses.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Proficiency in Excel and SQL.
  • Detailโ€‘oriented with excellent problemโ€‘solving skills; driven selfโ€‘starter.
  • Knowledge of the Global Fixed Income Trading Marketplace and clearing infrastructure is preferred.
  • Experience with electronic trading platforms such as Tradeweb, MarketAxess, Bloomberg, Liquidnet, TruMid, MTS, and Yieldbroker is preferred.
