What's the role?
As an Account Manager on the Sell-Side Core Terminal Sales team, based in Los Angeles, you'll cover one of the world's top 10 financial markets. You'll be responsible for protecting and expanding existing client partnerships by defending renewals and competitive situations, while also building a healthy pipeline through disciplined lead sourcing.
You'll develop a deep understanding of your clients' workflows, technology, and data landscape, and use that context to deliver solutions that stick. You'll build senior relationships that strengthen long-term partnerships and ensure Bloomberg remains embedded in how clients work.
We'll trust you to:
- Build trusted, long-term relationships with sell-side clients and develop a strong understanding of their workflows
- Defend existing opportunities by proactively managing renewal cycles, addressing competitive threats, and reinforcing value with senior stakeholders
- Source and qualify new leads through targeted prospecting, referrals, and presence at relevant industry events
- Position Bloomberg's analytics, data, and solutions within evolving market structure, regulation, and the technology landscape
- Partner closely with internal teams to deliver thoughtful, value-added solutions for clients
- Contribute feedback and ideas to help improve our products and anticipate client needs
- Navigate a flat organization effectively, pulling in the right experts to solve client problems quickly and credibly
You'll need to have:
- 2+ years of client-facing experience in Financial Services or a Financial Technology company
- Strong presentation and communication skills, with the ability to engage senior audiences
- Experience in one or more of the following asset classes: Fixed Income, Equities, FX, Futures, and other Derivatives
- Consultative skills built in a sales, relationship management, or project management role
- A track record of building and maintaining strong relationships with stakeholders externally and internally
- Demonstrated continuous career growth within an organization

Salary Range = 90,000 - 130,000 USD Annual + Benefits + Bonus
The referenced salary range is based on the Company's good faith belief at the time of posting. Actual compensation may vary based on factors such as geographic location, work experience, market conditions, education/training and skill level.
