  • Evening or Night shift available. Added shift differential for working off shift.
  • Permanent and full-time direct hire.ย 
  • Bachelor's degree in Medical Technology, or a closely related field according to current applicable state and federal regulations.
  • Preferred, 5 years of experience working as a Laboratory Technologist at a Critical Access Hospital.
  • LIS: Experience with CERNER Laboratory Information System is favorable.
  • Rural community.ย

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Microbiology:ย includes the subspecialties of Bacteriology, Mycobacteriology, Virology, and Parasitology.
  • Core Laboratory 1: includes General and Special Chemistry, Blood gases, Immunology, and Serology, and knowledge of manual and automation lines.
  • Core Laboratory 2: includes Hematology, Coagulation, Special Coagulation, and Urinalysis.
  • Transfusion Services (Blood Bank): includes Blood Transfusion medicine, and Blood Utilization and Waste.
  • Phlebotomist:ย Venipuncture and skin puncture. Specimen preparation for reference laboratories.
