This marketing internship at Resurety, a high-tech, clean-energy-focused company, is a great opportunity for an undergraduate student to learn about marketing in a fast-paced environment and gain an understanding of the rapidly growing clean-energy industry. This role will span several marketing disciplines, including, but not limited to, content creation, graphic design, website maintenance and optimization, and lead qualification and assignment. Ideally, the candidate has experience with Google Docs/Slides, Canva, WordPress, and Salesforce. This role is 40 hours per week from September to December.
Key Responsibilities
  • Digital & Social Content Management: Master the WordPress CMS to own the end-to-end process of updating website pages, publishing blog posts, and ensuring all digital content is accurate and functional.
  • Marketing Automation & Lead Flow: Develop expertise in HubSpot to build newsletters and automated email nurtures, and support routing leads to the appropriate sales representatives based on industry and product.
  • Search Engine Optimization (SEO): Utilize Yoast SEO to audit web content, implementing strategic enhancements to improve organic search rankings and site visibility.
  • Content Production & Editing: Serve as a creator and editor for marketing collateral-including blog posts, display ads, white papers, infographics, fact sheets, and reports.
  • Industry & Competitor Updates: Keep a pulse on the clean energy industry in the news, and compile headlines & summaries once weekly to update the team.
  • Webinar and Event Support: Assist with preparing webinars and sales conferences as needed. -Manage the transcription and publication of webinar content.
  • Cross-Functional Coordination: Manage updates to the internal marketing calendar and support communications to the broader commercial team regarding upcoming webinars, newsletters, and campaign milestones.
Preferred Experience and Qualifications
  • Currently pursuing or recently completed a degree in Marketing, Communications, Business, or a related field.
  • Familiarity with Content Management Systems (like WordPress) and a strong desire to learn marketing automation platforms (such as HubSpot/Salesforce).
  • Experience using Canva for content creation.
  • Strong copy-editing and proofreading abilities with a sharp eye for detail, grammar, and brand voice consistency across various formats (white papers, blogs, and presentations).
  • Ability to gather and organize data-specifically for market research and trade show logistics-to help inform budget and strategy decisions.
  • Proficiency in Google Slides and Google Docs, with the ability to format professional documents that align with brand guidelines.
  • A proactive learner who is comfortable navigating new software (like Yoast SEO) and taking ownership of recurring tasks like the marketing calendar and webinar transcriptions.
  • Interest in increasing the adoption of clean energy
