Overview This is a 6-month, part-time internship (20 hours per week) with opportunities to start in March or April 2025. As a Marketing Intern at Stride, you will assist with various projects within the Marketing department. The role includes administrative, clerical, and project work as determined by business needs. You will support multiple K12-powered schools' marketing, including website support, social media strategy, and graphic design. Candidates with experience interviewing individuals, writing blog posts with SEO best practices, and publishing content on WordPress are a plus. The work aims to help prospective parents understand what K12-powered schools offer and support the company's enrollment goals. Responsibilities Assist with day-to-day marketing activities and project work as assigned. Support website-related efforts, social media strategy, and graphic design for multiple K12-powered schools. Contribute to content creation, presentations, and materials as needed. Provide ideas for marketing toolkits, YouTube content creation/strategy, and webinar planning. Evaluate social media metrics and help prepare team reports to monitor performance. Manage social media content within a monthly editorial calendar and schedule posts using management platforms. Collaborate with school staff to highlight student stories and advise on best practices for collecting user-generated content. Participate in content planning meetings, contributing trending ideas. Assist with day-to-day administrative and operational duties and with developing marketing materials. Foster strong relationships with internal teams and external organizations; ensure timely, accurate communications. Utilize technologies and platforms relevant to the business to execute tasks. Qualifications Currently pursuing an undergraduate degree in Communications, Marketing, English, or a related field, or equivalent combination of education and experience. Working knowledge of social media platforms including Facebook, Instagram, YouTube, TikTok, Snapchat, and Twitter. Excellent presentation, written, and oral communication skills; ability to leverage technology effectively. Strong interpersonal, collaborative, and teamwork skills; able to build strong working relationships. Ability to work independently and in a team-oriented environment; strong project, time management, and organizational skills with attention to detail. High quality work with accountability; ethical standards, integrity, and commitment to diversity and trust. MS 365; web proficiency; ability to clear a required background check. Preferred Qualifications Experience with WordPress and/or blog writing; knowledge of SEO for blogs. Experience with photo editing and graphic design tools (e.g., Canva). Video editing experience (e.g., Animoto); familiarity with TikTok video creation and YouTube. Experience with a Social Media Management system (e.g., Sprout Social, Hootsuite).
