Job description

Our client, a leader in innovative blockchain and digital asset solutions, is seeking a Systems Engineer - Expert to join their dynamic team. As a Systems Engineer - Expert, you will be integral to supporting cutting-edge infrastructure projects within the organization. The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong problem-solving skills, adaptability, and a collaborative spirit, which will align successfully in the organization.

Job Title: Systems Engineer - Expert

Location:Southlake, TX

Pay Range: $75/hr 

What's the Job?

  • Design and develop reusable Web3 platform services for blockchain tokenization, transaction processing, and connectivity.
  • Build backend services that interact with blockchain nodes, smart contracts, wallets, and off-chain systems.
  • Implement blockchain connectivity using protocols like JSON-RPC and WebSocket, ensuring secure and efficient data exchange.
  • Collaborate across teams to evaluate and integrate blockchain networks such as Ethereum, Hyperledger Besu, Canton/Daml, and permissioned blockchains.
  • Support the development and security of smart contracts, token standards, and institutional blockchain workflows.

What's Needed?

  • 5+ years of experience in building distributed systems, blockchain infrastructure, or high-scale transaction systems.
  • Hands-on experience with Ethereum/EVM, smart contracts, ABI encoding, and transaction lifecycle management.
  • Proficiency in backend development using languages such as Java, Go, Kotlin, TypeScript, Rust, Python, or C++.
  • Experience working with blockchain protocols, JSON-RPC, WebSocket, and event indexing systems.
  • Knowledge of wallet infrastructure, transaction signing, custody concepts, and key management patterns.
