Working successfully within a team, the Senior Test Engineer will execute the test approach and document system verification throughout the engineering development lifecycle. This will entail assisting in the following areas:

  • Generation of system test work products by applying the appropriate standards, processes, procedures and tools
  • Development of test programs, designs test fixtures and equipment, and completes specifications and procedures for new products
  • Development of functional, environmental, operational, and/or performance tests on hardware, software, and systems
  • Design, development and implementation of cost-effective methods of testing and troubleshooting of hardware, software and systems for all phases of product development and manufacturing
What you’ll experience:

• Operate and troubleshoot Linux-based test environments, executing test scripts, automated test sequences, and diagnostic routines in support of system verification activities
• Support setup, configuration, and operation of Pod Ground Control Stations (PGCS) and System Test Stations (STS), including pre-test verification and post-test analysis of hardware and software
• Execute system-level tests utilizing PGCS and STS, ensuring configurations reflect the current engineering baseline
• Perform guidance handling duties in support of test operations, adhering to established safety protocols and procedures
• Coordinate with Range Safety, Flight Test, and Systems Engineering teams during Pod flight operations
• Develop and execute Test Procedures, Test Plans, and Test Reports, maintaining accurate test logs in support of configuration management processes
• Record and analyze test data, identify trends, and report findings to engineering leadership
• Document test anomalies and Failure Reports (FRs) in accordance with program processes
• Participate in anomaly review boards and failure investigation efforts, supporting root cause analysis and corrective action activities
• Maintain test station readiness and calibration status to ensure operational availability

What you bring to the table:

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Systems Engineering, Computer Science, or a related technical discipline
• Proficiency with Linux operating systems, including command line operations, scripting, and system administration
• Experience writing and executing formal test procedures in a structured engineering environment
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to troubleshoot complex hardware and software issues
• Effective communication skills with the ability to work collaboratively across multi-disciplinary engineering teams
• Willingness and ability to travel to test sites or customer facilities as required
• Active DoD Security Clearance
