Job description

Responsibilities
• Support the production operation of digital asset platforms, including wallets, blockchain nodes, and transaction processing systems.
• Ensure high availability and reliability of systems supporting digital asset lifecycle management and transaction flows.
• Provide L2/L3 support for incident, problem, and change management, including post-incident reviews and continuous improvement.
• Monitor system health across:
o Blockchain nodes and networks
o Wallet infrastructure (hot, cold, hardware, multi sig)
o Transaction pipelines and reconciliation processes
o Latency, throughput, and network conditions
• Investigate and resolve issues related to:
o Transaction failures or delays
o Reconciliation breaks
o System performance degradation
o Anomalous or risk flagged activity
• Collaborate with engineering, cybersecurity, risk, and business teams to enhance platform stability and security controls.
• Work with vendor and managed service providers supporting blockchain infrastructure, custody, and wallet services.
• Contribute to observability practices (monitoring, logging, tracing, alerting) across distributed systems.
• Support capacity planning and performance analysis for scaling blockchain nodes and transaction systems.
• Participate in resilience and recovery testing, including failover, DR, and key-material backup validation.
• Drive and implement automation across monitoring, reconciliation, and operational processes.
• Maintain clear runbooks, documentation, and knowledge sharing for production operations.
Qualifications
Core Experience
• 58 years of experience in:
o Production Support / SRE / Platform Engineering, OR
o Electronic Trading / Markets Technology Support, OR
o Payments / transaction processing platforms
• Proven experience supporting mission-critical, high-availability systems in fast-paced environments.
• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills in distributed systems.
Technical Skills
• Experience with one or more: Java, Python, Go, or similar
• Experience working in Linux environments
• Familiarity with containers and Kubernetes/OpenShift
• Experience with databases ( Postgres, Oracle, MongoDB, Redis)
• Strong experience with observability tools (e.g., Splunk, Grafana, Prometheus, ELK)
Salary Range: $90,000 to $110,000 per year
