Work you'll do
As a Digital Assets Technical Architect on the Banking and Capital Markets team, you will be responsible for:
  • Leading technical architecture activities for digital assets engagements, including target-state architecture, application design, integration patterns, data flows, security considerations, and implementation roadmaps
  • Translating business, product, and regulatory requirements into technical blueprints for digital asset platforms, tokenization solutions, custody capabilities, and blockchain-enabled workflows
  • Guiding engineering teams through architecture decisions, technical standards, solution design reviews, and implementation planning for scalable, secure, and high-performance platforms
  • Collaborating with client stakeholders across technology, product, operations, risk, compliance, and business teams to align architecture decisions with enterprise objectives and delivery requirements
  • Supporting large-scale transformation programs across banking, payments, and digital assets by shaping solution options, evaluating platforms and vendors, and driving execution across multiple workstreams

Qualifications
Required:
  • Bachelor's degree
  • 7+ years of experience in solution architecture, technical architecture, software engineering, or platform engineering roles within banking, capital markets, payments, or financial services
  • 7+ years of experience leading end-to-end architecture for enterprise technology initiatives from requirements through implementation
  • Experience delivering at least 2 large-scale transformations in core banking modernization, platform migration, payments modernization, or digital asset platform implementation
  • Experience with application programming interfaces (APIs), service-oriented architecture (SOA), event-driven architecture, microservices, cloud platforms, blockchain, distributed ledger technology (DLT), or tokenization
  • Ability to travel 50%, on average, based on the work you do and the clients and industries/sectors you serve.
  • Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without the need for employer sponsorship, now or at any time in the future.
Preferred:
  • Advanced degree or certification in architecture, cloud, agile delivery, or program management
  • Experience with digital asset infrastructure, including custody platforms, tokenization engines, stablecoins, digital asset exchanges, or on-chain settlement solutions
  • Experience with digital asset regulatory, anti-money laundering (AML), know your customer (KYC), sanctions, or Travel Rule requirements
  • Experience with Amazon Web Services (AWS), Microsoft Azure, Google Cloud Platform (GCP), Apigee, Kong, MuleSoft, or comparable cloud and integration platforms
  • Experience evaluating and integrating third-party fintech, blockchain, or digital asset vendor platforms into enterprise environments
  • Experience presenting architecture recommendations, solution options, or implementation plans to director-, vice president-, C-suite-, or regulatory-level stakeholders
The wage range for this role takes into account the wide range of factors that are considered in making compensation decisions including but not limited to skill sets; experience and training; licensure and certifications; and other business and organizational needs. The disclosed range estimate has not been adjusted for the applicable geographic differential associated with the location at which the position may be filled. At Deloitte, it is not typical for an individual to be hired at or near the top of the range for their role and compensation decisions are dependent on the facts and circumstances of each case. A reasonable estimate of the current range is $148,200 to $292,300.
You may also be eligible to participate in a discretionary annual incentive program, subject to the rules governing the program, whereby an award, if any, depends on various factors, including, without limitation, individual and organizational performance.
