Blockchain Community Managers are professionals who build, engage, and nurture online communities around blockchain projects or companies. They act as a bridge between the project's team and its users, facilitating communication, answering questions, and fostering a positive environment. Their responsibilities often include organizing events, moderating discussions, collecting user feedback, and helping to grow the project's presence on social media and messaging platforms. A strong Blockchain Community Manager helps create loyal and informed communities, which are crucial for the success of many blockchain initiatives.

How does a blockchain community manager typically collaborate with development and marketing teams?

A Blockchain Community Manager serves as a vital bridge between the project’s community and internal teams. They regularly gather feedback, questions, and concerns from users, then relay these insights to the development team to help guide feature improvements or bug fixes. Simultaneously, they work closely with marketing to align community campaigns with overall brand messaging and to ensure product updates are communicated effectively. This role often involves coordinating joint initiatives, such as AMAs or launch events, and participating in cross-functional meetings to stay abreast of project priorities and timelines. Strong collaboration skills are essential to ensuring that the community's voice is accurately represented and that engagement efforts are well-integrated across teams.

Familiarity with platforms like Discord, Telegram, Twitter, and community management tools, as well as knowledge of blockchain analytics dashboards, is typically required. Job description

Native is a next-generation liquidity infrastructure that transforms traditional inventory-based trading with a credit-driven model. Powered by our Credit Margin Engine, Native ensures liquidity is available precisely when and where it’s needed, all through a single API. This creates a frictionless experience for DeFi participants, while seamlessly abstracting chain complexities for any ecosystem or dApp.

Position Summary

Native is seeking an experienced Senior Marketing Manager to join its growing team. In this leadership role, you will oversee and execute high-impact marketing strategies, including targeted content creation across social media channels, blogs, and marketing platforms. You will drive Native’s overall social media and marketing strategy, building a strong presence for both new and existing products across various business lines. This is an exciting opportunity to lead marketing initiatives in a fast-paced, dynamic environment, collaborating closely with cross-functional teams such as product managers, engineers, and business users to address real-world challenges in the rapidly evolving DeFi space.

Job Responsibilities

  • Design and implement end-to-end marketing campaigns to drive hype, awareness, and adoption of new business product lines.

  • Stay up to date with the latest industry trends and best practices, identifying new opportunities to enhance platform engagement and expand to new channels.

  • Lead and oversee reporting on the growth and health of social media communities, using insights to refine strategies continually.

  • Develop and manage the content calendar across all marketing channels, ensuring alignment with overall business goals.

  • Define and execute a best-in-class approach to community engagement on various platforms.
Cultivate a deep understanding of Web3 consumers and app developers to tailor marketing efforts effectively.

  • Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) and marketing metrics across all channels, using data to inform decisions.

  • Create and oversee the production of engaging long-form and short-form content, including articles, presentations, narratives, social media posts, and other marketing assets.

  • Act as a strategic advisor to cross-functional teams, providing input on brand positioning and audience engagement tactics.

Job Requirements

  • 6-8 years of experience in content marketing, writing, and campaign management, with a proven track record of success on platforms such as Twitter, LinkedIn, and Reddit.

  • Demonstrated expertise in running high-impact growth marketing campaigns for technical audiences and end consumers.

  • Exceptional creativity and strong writing skills, including experience producing both fast-moving micro-content for social media and longer-form articles.

  • Advanced knowledge of DeFi, crypto, blockchain, and Web3 technologies, with the ability to translate technical concepts into engaging narratives.

  • Proven ability to lead and thrive in a collaborative, fast-paced start-up environment, adapting quickly to evolving priorities.

  • In-depth understanding of target audiences across multiple platforms, with the ability to engage them effectively in real-time.

  • Experience in content creation tools such as Adobe Creative Suite, Canva, and basic video editing software is a plus.

  • Strong analytical skills to track and interpret marketing performance metrics, driving data-driven decision-making.

  • Strong communication skills and fluent in English.
