Merkle Science is seeking a dynamic Content and PR Lead to join our growing team. The ideal candidate will be a seasoned professional with a proven track record in developing and executing successful content marketing and public relations strategies. As the Content and PR Lead, you will play a crucial role in shaping and communicating Merkle Science's narrative, building brand awareness, and establishing thought leadership in the blockchain and cryptocurrency space.
 
Responsibilities:
 
Content Strategy and Development:
 
     Develop and execute a comprehensive content strategy aligned with Merkle Science's business goals.
     Create engaging and informative content, including blog posts, whitepapers, case studies, and other collateral, showcasing our expertise in blockchain analytics and compliance.
     Collaborate with subject matter experts and stakeholders to gather insights and technical details for content creation.
     Ensure consistency in messaging and branding across all content channels
     Build brand messaging and guidelines
 
Public Relations:
 
     Develop and implement a strategic PR plan to enhance Merkle Science's visibility and reputation in the market
     Work closely with regulatory affairs leads and PR agency to execute campaigns
     Cultivate and maintain relationships with key media outlets, journalists, and industry influencers.
     Draft and edit press releases, media pitches, and other PR materials to communicate key announcements and milestones.
     Monitor and analyze media coverage, providing insights and recommendations for continuous improvement.
 
Social Media Management:
 
     Oversee Merkle Science's social media presence, ensuring regular and engaging content across platforms.
     Collaborate with the marketing team to amplify content through social media channels and enhance brand awareness.
     Monitor social media trends and industry conversations to identify opportunities for engagement.
 
Event Management:
 
     Coordinate Merkle Science's participation in industry conferences, webinars, and events to maximize brand exposure.
     Develop and manage event-related content and collateral
     Work closely with internal teams to ensure a seamless and impactful presence at events.
 
Qualifications:
 
     Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, Public Relations, or a related field.
     Proven experience in content creation, PR, and social media management, preferably in the blockchain or fintech industry.
     Demonstrated success in executing PR campaigns and securing media coverage.
