Your Mission

The Finance Systems Lead is a strategic partner to our Finance Engineering teams and business stakeholders, responsible for defining and delivering scalable finance technology solutions. This role supports Finance and Procure-to-Pay initiatives by analyzing business needs and translating functional and technical requirements into effective system solutions.

Working closely with the Associate Director of Finance Engineering, this position drives application enhancements, project execution, and end-user support while ensuring alignment between IT capabilities and Finance business objectives.

This role is expected to begin and continue as a remote position.

Key Responsibilities

Business & Systems Analysis

  • Gather and define project requirements in partnership with technical and non-technical stakeholders
  • Conduct interviews with managers and subject matter experts to document complex business rules and processes
  • Translate business requirements into detailed functional and technical documentation
  • Perform business process analysis, process mapping, and gap analysis (As-Is / To-Be)
  • Validate the feasibility of requested functionality against existing technical architecture and data structures

Stakeholder Engagement

  • Collaborate across departments to ensure clear articulation of business goals and requirements
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with business users, IT teams, vendors, and third-party providers
  • Support solution design and implementation through active stakeholder partnership

Project Delivery & System Support

  • Lead and manage components of project plans across the full project lifecycle
  • Support application enhancements, system implementations, and production support activities
  • Manage and resolve critical support tickets across multiple priority levels
  • Coordinate with offshore support teams and internal Finance Engineering functions to maintain service levels
  • Produce and maintain key documentation including Requirements Documents, Scope Documents, Test Plans, Test Scenarios, and Business Process Diagrams
  • Develop training materials and deliver knowledge transfer sessions to end users as needed

Continuous Improvement

  • Identify opportunities to enhance finance applications, architecture, and system configurations
  • Support Oracle EBS financial consolidation, reporting application deployments, and Oracle Close integrations
  • Conduct feasibility studies for new Oracle and non-Oracle finance technologies

Qualifications

  • 10+ years of experience implementing Oracle Financials R12 modules, including: General Ledger (GL), Sub-Ledger Accounting (SLA), Accounts Receivable (AR), Accounts Payable (AP), Cash Management, Fixed Assets, Treasury, EBTax, Advanced Global Intercompany System (AGIS), and Procure-to-Pay (P2P)
  • Deep understanding of the financial close cycle and accounting best practices
  • Experience integrating third-party systems with Oracle R12.2.10
  • Familiarity with finance-related applications including Sabrix (Tax Engine) and AP Imaging solutions (Kofax MarkView / Kofax Transformation Module)
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and project management skills
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and documentation skills
  • Proven ability to manage multiple priorities in fast-paced environments
  • Self-motivated with the ability to work independently and with minimal supervision

Preferred Technical Skills

  • Hands-on experience with the Kofax Product Suite, including: Kofax MarkView for Oracle EBS (10.x), Kofax Capture (v11.x), Kofax Transformation Module (v6.x), Kofax Import Connector (v2.x), and Kofax Analytics for MarkView (1.x)
  • Experience with tax engines including EBTax, Sabrix, and Vertex
  • Working knowledge of Oracle EBS 12.2.10, including workflows, interfaces, and technical architecture
  • Experience with Oracle SQL Loader or external file utilities
  • Ability to write SQL queries for reporting, troubleshooting, and audit support
  • Experience troubleshooting PL/SQL objects
  • Proficiency with tools such as SQL Developer, Toad, Dataloader, MS Office Suite, Visio, and Jira / Confluence / Azure DevOps

In the U.S., the standard base pay range for this role is $116,800.00 - $216,000.00 Annual. These values reflect the expected base pay range of new hires across all U.S. locations. Ultimately, your specific range and offer will be based on several factors, including relevant experience, performance, and work location. Your Talent Professional can share this role's range details for your local geography during the hiring process. In addition to a competitive base pay, employees in this role may be eligible for incentive compensation. Incentive compensation is not guaranteed.
