Shop Technician

Bliss Mobil USA | Colorado Springs, Colorado


Bliss Mobil USA is seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Shop Technician to join our growing

North American operations. Bliss Mobil builds the world’s most capable expedition vehicles,

designed for remote, off-grid travel and long-term global exploration. This role is ideal for a

hands-on technician who takes pride in craftsmanship, precision, and professionalism.

Position Overview

As a Shop Technician, you will be responsible for the installation, service, and support of Bliss

Mobil expedition vehicle units mounted on heavy-duty truck chassis. This role requires

mechanical aptitude, comfort working across multiple systems, and a commitment to high-

quality workmanship in a customer-facing environment.


Key Responsibilities

• Install Bliss Mobil habitats onto truck chassis

• Drilling and modifying truck frames to accommodate Bliss Mobil subframes-

• Proper alignment, fastening, and torqueing of structural components

• Install and integrate Bliss Mobil accessories and systems

• Perform service and maintenance on Bliss Mobil units-

• HVAC systems

• Plumbing and water systems

• Electrical systems (12V / 24V / 110V–240V AC)

• Mechanical and structural components

• Safely operate hand tools, power tools, and shop equipment

• Follow proper safety, lifting, and rigging procedures when handling heavy components

• Maintain a clean, organized, and professional shop environment

• Interact professionally with customers during vehicle deliveries, service visits, and walk-

throughs

• Accurately document work performed and communicate clearly with the Bliss Mobil team

Required Qualifications

• Strong experience with hand and power tools

• Mechanical aptitude with the ability to work across multiple systems

• Experience or familiarity with:

• HVAC, plumbing, electrical, or mechanical systems (multi-discipline experience preferred)

• Understanding of shop safety standards and proper lifting procedures

• Professional demeanor and comfort working directly with customers

• Ability to work independently and as part of a small, specialized team

• Valid passport (international travel required)

• Clean driving record

• Pass background check

Preferred Experience

• RV, marine, overland, or specialty vehicle experience

• Fabrication or chassis modification experience

• Electrical diagnostics or system integration experience


Compensation & Benefits

• Starting pay: $24.00 – $32.00 per hour, based on experience and skill level

• Paid factory training in the Netherlands after successful completion of a 3-

month trial period
