Job description

Operator I - Kalamazoo, MI
Division - WFSI / A.M. Todd
This is a full-time hourly position.
Position Summary: 
  • Blend, filter, dump, de-water, and draw products within the plant to ensure that the most effective and efficient means are utilized to meet production requirements
Job Responsibilities: (Including, but not limited to)
  • Blend, filter, dump, de-water, and draw products to produce flavor components
  • Read production schedules, pick lists, work orders, or material requisitions to determine items to be blended, filtered, dumped, etc.
  • Drives forklift to transport items to and from specified staging and production areas
  • Record all necessary information of material usage within the facility using both Adage and any other forms of documentation required by ADM or A.M. Todd
  • Maintain inventory control integrity by both physically and electronically moving product throughout the facility simultaneously
  • Use Adage via the computer or scanner to enter, track, and maintain inventory transactions as they relate to inventory movement
  • Adhering to all labeling, weight, and packaging requirements
  • Maintain and follow all GMP's and operational procedures including master sanitation to ensure the safety of co-workers and product integrity
  • Follow ISO procedures
  • Complies with the food safety management system
  • Participates as required to ensure food safety and ISO/Food Safety certification
  • Perform other duties and assignments as required
Job Requirements:
  • Promotes the ADM Way and Core Values
  • High School, equivalent or degree in related field
  • Combination of education and experience also acceptable
  • Experience in food, chemical or pharmaceutical manufacturing a plus
  • Forklift experience
  • Basic math skills
  • Basic computer skills, (Word and Excel)
