The Manufacturing Business Systems Analyst is responsible for the administration, configuration, and continuous improvement of enterprise quality and operational systems across Inline Plastics Corp. This role serves as the primary owner of the Quality Management System (QMS) and Product Data Management (PDM) system, supports the company ERP/MES platform, and maintains data integrity and reporting infrastructure across multiple business‑critical applications. The position requires a blend of quality systems expertise, ERP/QMS technical proficiency, and analytical capability to support cross‑functional teams and multi‑site operations.

Essential Job ResponsibilitiesOperations
  • Translate business requirements into analytical solutions: Develop, publish, and maintain dashboards and reports to support quality metrics, supplier performance, production data, and executive KPIs.
  • Serve as the primary system administrator and subject matter expert for the company QMS across all active modules, responsible to configure and maintain module workflows, forms, task profiles, user assignments and permissions, and custom document links.
  • Build and maintain QMS reports and dashboards to support multi‑site audit compliance (participating as a data subject matter expert), supplier performance, and quality KPI tracking.
  • Collaborate with IT and operations on ERP/MES enhancements, upgrades, and data governance, supporting the integrations between ERP/MES and third‑party systems via APIs and data exchange methods.
  • Administer the Product Data Management (PDM) and Project Lifecycle Management (PLM) systems including user access, workflow configuration, folder permissions, and vault health.
  • Evaluate new tools and system enhancements; provide business cases and implementation recommendations, manage vendor relationships.
  • Support end users across quality, operations, and support chain functions by developing and maintaining system documentation and user training materials as applicable.
  • Support cross‑functional quality and operations improvement projects that drive company wide initiatives such as cost reduction, process optimization, and customer satisfaction.
  • This position requires domestic travel of approximately 10%, as necessary.

  • Report to supervision conditions or practices that are either unsafe or that may adversely impact the environment, to ensure prompt resolution of potential hazards.

  • Follows GMP's in regard to food contact packaging as it pertains to the employee.
  • Follows IPC product defense standards and complies with all SQF requirements.
Qualifications

QualificationsMinimum Requirements (include education, experience, special skills, licenses and/or certifications required.)   • Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Data Science or a related field with 3 years' experience, or 7 years' experience in related role.
  • Demonstrated experience with business intelligence and dashboarding tools for data reporting and transformation, (Power Bi or similar).
  • Experience working with relational databases for reporting and troubleshooting (SQL or similar)
  • Familiarity with system integration concepts including APIs and data exchange between enterprise platforms.
  • Preferred: Experience administering a Quality Management System (QMS) in a manufacturing environment; proficiency in ERP systems; experience with query development, workflow configuration, and end‑user support; proficiency with VBA, Python, or other scripting languages.
  • Excellent analytical, problem‑solving, and documentation skills.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills; able to translate technical concepts for non‑technical stakeholders.
