Job description

A DAY IN THE LIFE
Accountable for the development, implementation, execution, and continuous improvement of the Blattner's Solar Quality Program across all projects and operational functions. This role provides strong, visible leadership to ensure systemic quality assurance, quality control, product conformity, and execution reliability.
This leader establishes clear standards of accountability, sets direction for business unit wide quality expectations, and drives consistency in program execution across preconstruction and construction operations. A critical component of this role is the recruitment, development, coaching, and performance management of Solar Quality team members to build a high-performing organization capable of delivering best-in-class execution.
STEP INTO THE ROLE
  • Leads the ongoing development, refinement, and business unit wide implementation of the Solar Quality Program to ensure alignment with company strategy, customer requirements, regulatory standards, and contractual obligations.
  • Ensures clear ownership, accountability, and measurable performance standards for quality across all functional areas within Solar business unit.
  • Monitors industry quality trends and emerging best practices to position the organization at the forefront of utility-scale Solar execution.
  • Defines systems to support tracking and actively managing Quality KPIs, ensuring proactive intervention on negative trends and driving continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Partners with Director of Quality to ensure the Solar Quality Program supports strategic growth, risk mitigation, and operational excellence objectives.
  • Establishes clear expectations, role clarity, and performance standards for Quality Systems Analysts, Quality Data Analyst, and Quality Specialist.

WHAT YOU'LL NEED
  • Bachelor's degree in construction management, engineering, quality management, or related degree; or equivalent combination of related education and experience required.
  • 7 or more years of experience in construction and quality management.
  • 3 or more years of previous leadership experience required.

$133,847.00 - $194,078.00 Individual Compensation to be determined based on the applicant's applicable experience and qualifications balanced against internal equity.
