Job Description:
The Customer Service and Sales Specialist serves customers by providing product and order information to customers in person, on email and via telephone, processing orders, and resolving product and service problems at the store site in Springfield, MO. This position provides support to the sales team to help manage and grow the customer base. Order entry, organization, and great attention to detail are crucial for this role, as well as the ability to solve problems and think on your feet.
·Answer incoming customer calls, identify their needs, and provide clear, professional, and solutions-based service and communication.
· Greet and assist customers. Answer product questions.
· Maintain current customers and attract new customers.
· Maintain a high level of professionalism and positive rapport with every customer.
· Enter new customer orders (from outside sales and from showroom as needed)
· Work with existing and potential new customers, as well as account managers and reps to create and maintain customer cards, keep updated COI and customer payment information.
· Manage customer product pickup process and log. Update customer information to assist departments in completing orders.
· Work in Showroom as needed, with duties to include maintaining orderly displays, assisting customers with locating and purchasing product
· Attention to order details so the process flows smoothly.
· Count inventory per schedule, or as needed.
· Maintain correct customer records and communicate feedback from customers.
· Stay up to date with new products.
· Keep the front counter and showroom clean and organized at all times.
· Expert on all products by research on down time.
Qualifications/Skills:
  • Proven customer service and problem-solving experience
  • Excellent professionalism, verbal and written communication skills, good listening skills to utilize for selling
  • Enthusiastic, energetic, personable, and friendly disposition
  • On a regular basis, requires the ability to walk, reach with hands and arms, stand for a minimum of 6–8 hours, and lift and/or move up to 50 lbs.
  • Ability to do customer fittings, including reaching around a person and squatting
  • Strong time management skills, including the abilities to multi-task and prioritize
  • Computer and basic office management software literate
  • Some college and/or Prior account management or store responsibility a plus
  • Goal-oriented to reach revenue goals
  • Competent in computer software and cash register usage
  • Knowledge or willingness to learn Embroidery Machine
