St. Catherine's Retirement Residence, Part Time Opportunity, 5 Shifts (20 hrs) Bi-weekly.ย 

The Opportunity

We're looking for a Dining Server. This role is responsible for serving meals and servicing catering events while ensuring an exceptional dining experience to residents and guests.

What You'll Do

  • Prepare food for serving to the residents and ensuring resident satisfaction with meal serviceย 
  • Take orders, setting and stripping tables and serving food/beverages in accordance with established policies and procedures and all applicable regulationsย 
  • Unpack and store supplies; maintain work and storage areas in a clean, safe sanitary mannerย 
  • Wash, clean and sort dishes, cutlery, fixtures and equipment used for food preparation and serviceย 
  • Operate and clean food equipment, furniture and maintain dining areaย 
  • All other duties as assigned

What You'll Bring

  • Experience working in a kitchen is considered an assetย 
  • Must be able to read and communicate effectively, and follow written/verbal instructionsย 
  • Ability to lift up to and including 50 pounds is considered an assetย 
  • Must be able to operate related equipmentย
