Responsibilities and Duties:

Inspect, maintain, and repair various data center systems such as piping and non-critical electrical or mechanical system components. 

  • Ensure environmental and safety standards are consistently met, identifying problems, and making repairs quickly 

  • Read blueprints/schematics, conduct tours of systems, and assess their working order 

  • Manage data center performance issues and outages to minimize the recovery time from failures 

  • Support integration of new equipment and systems into facilities infrastructure

  • Supervise on site teams to ensure quality work and proper labor utilization. 

  • Respond to facility specific emergencies 

  • Transportation of tools, equipment, and personnel depending upon operational need. 

  • Production of SOPs and MOPs for facility related functions. 

  • Additional duties as required. 

 
This role requires professionalism, respect, strong communication, and the ability to work well with others in a team-oriented, inclusive environment. 
Qualifications:

-High School or GED Equivalent 

Electrical 

-Understanding of: 

  •  Power distribution system 

  • Panels, breakers, transformers 

  • Emergency systems (generators, UPS)

-Ability to:

  • Read electrical schematics. 
  • Coordinate repairs and preventive maintenance. 

  • Ensure safety code compliance (NFPA, NEC) 

  • Ability to work without supervision and complete assigned task. 

HVAC 

-Knowledge of:  

  • HVAC systems (RTUs, Split units, Dry coolers) 

  • Building automation systems. 

-Experience with:  

  • Preventive maintenance programs 

  • Troubleshooting airflow, temperature control issues 

  • Working with vendors/contractors 

Plumbing 

-Familiarity with:  

  • Water supply & drainage systems 

  • Pumps, valves, backflow systems 

-Ability to:  

  • Manage repairs and leaks efficiently. 

  • Knowledge of bitcoin mining a plus 

 

-Able to lift 50-75 lbs, adapt to varying temperatures, crouch, kneel, stand, or walk for long periods of time 

-Reliable self-transportation 

This position may involve duties that require operation of a company vehicle or travel between job sites. As such, candidates must be insurable under CleanSpark's vehicle insurance policy.
