The Role

As the Director, Full Stack Software Engineering, you will be responsible for a portfolio of applications and engineering associates assigned to the Core Custody team within Fidelity Digital Assets.

This is an engineering manager role where you will work very closely with product owners, architects, and engineering teams to deliver high quality cloud-based technology solutions to meet business requirements.

You will translate vision, strategy, and business requirements into prioritized backlogs and technical deliverables.Lead with an enterprise perspective, engaging across business units to align priorities and shape shared roadmap.You will apply technologies and engineering methods to maximize operational capabilities.

You will maintain a strong team of high performers and invest in their career growth. Additionally, with the help of the technical lead on your team, you will ensure that modern software development best practices are followed.

  • Bachelor's degree in computer science or related fieldrequired
  • 10 plus years of software engineering experience in building web applications that are scalable,resilientand secure
  • 6 plus years of experience directly managing a team of software engineers

Fidelity Digital Assets, a Fidelity Investments Company, is developing a full-service enterprise-grade platform for storing, trading, and servicing digital assets, such as Bitcoin and Ethereum.

We are currently working in a hybrid model with some flexibility for remote working. However, Fidelity is gradually transitioning towards a fully in-office working model. We believe this will help strengthen our culture and enhance both the associate and customer experience.

Fidelity's Onsite Working Model
Fidelity is transitioning to a full-time onsite working model through a phased rollout across regions and roles. Currently, some roles and locations require 100% onsite presence, while others require less. Onsite expectations are likely to evolve as the rollout continues. This transition does not apply to fully remote roles.

The base salary range for this position is $126,000-255,000 USD per year.

Placement in the range will vary based on job responsibilities and scope, geographic location, candidate's relevant experience, and other factors.

Base salary is only part of the total compensation package. Depending on the position and eligibility requirements, the offer package may also include bonus or other variable compensation.
