Job description

Associate Producer, Guest Programming

You'll be joining Bitcoin Magazine on our new flagship daily live studio show, the oldest and most established source of news, information, and expert commentary on Bitcoin. Since 2012, Bitcoin Magazine has provided analysis, research, education, and thought leadership at the intersection of finance and technology. Bitcoin Magazine strives to present accurate, timely, and relevant material to Bitcoin and blockchain communities.

Bitcoin Magazine is building a new flagship live studio show focused on Bitcoin, markets, and the forces reshaping money and technology. We're hiring an Associate Producer, Guest Programming to own the guest pipeline: sourcing, outreach, booking, confirmations, prep, and day-of coordination.

This is a hands-on, high-output role for someone who's organized, persistent, socially sharp, and comfortable moving fast. You'll work closely with the executive producer, lead anchor, and production team to make sure the show has the right voices, on the right days, with the right prep, and the right logistics so we're never scrambling at T-minus 10.

Guest Pipeline Ownership (Primary)

  • Build and maintain a rolling guest pipeline for daily programming (1-3 weeks out, plus backups).
  • Source high-signal guests across Bitcoin, macro/markets, policy/geopolitics, and frontier tech.
  • Manage outreach cadence: initial pitch, follow-ups, scheduling, confirmations, and ongoing relationship maintenance.

Booking Logistics & Calendar Management (Primary)

  • Own booking operations end-to-end: scheduling across time zones, calendar invites, reminders, and contingency planning.
  • Maintain a clean guest calendar and booking tracker with status visibility for the full team.
  • Coordinate releases/permissions as needed and keep guest info organized and accessible.

Guest Prep & Segment Readiness

  • Conduct quick pre-interviews or prep calls when requested by the executive producer/anchor team.
  • Create concise guest briefs: bio, key topics, relevant recent work, and suggested question angles.
  • Ensure guests understand format, timing expectations, and technical requirements.

Day-Of Guest Management

  • Coordinate green room flow and live-hit timing: arrival, mic check, hair/makeup (if applicable), and last-minute topic alignment.
  • Manage remote guest readiness: technical preflight, backup plans, and fast fixes in collaboration with the TD/audio team.
  • Keep backup guests/alternatives ready when cancellations happen.

Editorial & Production Support (Secondary)

  • Pitch guest-driven segment ideas and recurring formats based on your pipeline.
  • Maintain a database of "bookable topics" tied to specific guests for rapid programming pivots.
  • Assist with rundown inputs related to guest segments (timing, key beats, headlines).

Required

  • 1-4 years experience in booking, talent producing, journalism, podcasting, TV, or live digital programming.
  • Strong written and verbal communication: you can pitch guests credibly and professionally.
  • Excellent organization: calendars, trackers, follow-ups, and details don't fall through cracks.
  • Comfortable with fast-paced live production environments and day-of changes.

Preferred

  • Familiarity with Bitcoin and/or financial markets (enough to book intelligently and brief accurately).
  • Existing network of potential guests across Bitcoin, markets, energy, policy, or technology.
  • Experience booking high-profile guests or working with executive assistants/PR teams.
  • Comfort working across tools like Google Workspace, Slack, Airtable/Notion, and basic CRM-style tracking.
  • Based in (or willing to relocate to) Nashville, TN and able to work on-site.

In addition to working on a meaningful mission in a challenging environment, we also provide the following:

  • Unlimited Vacation
  • Company MacBook
  • Health, Dental, and Vision
  • Remote First / Your Schedule
  • 100% Paid Life Insurance and Disability
  • Work alongside a talented, fast-paced team solving complex problems
  • The opportunity to connect and network with the Bitcoin industry and leaders in the space.
