As part of our expanding Global Engineering and Scientific consulting team, you will work at the forefront of today’s most complex engineering challenges. You will be engaged in analyzing failures of a myriad of products from a variety of industries from automotive, construction, consumer products, consumer electronics and medical devices to name a few. This position is available in either our Chicago or New York office.

RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Exceptional analytical skills, problem solving, communication skills, and creativity are the foundation for successful professionals at Secretariat.
  • Attracting and winning new business opportunities for Secretariat in both expert witness and or strategic consulting
  • Contributing to the growth of Secretariat’s Electrical Engineering practice by recruiting talented staff
  • Mentoring and driving growth of Electrical Engineering staff
  • Providing project management and project budget oversight
QUALIFICATIONS
  • Established track recordfor business development and existing client-base
  • Requisite professional degrees and ~6-8years of work experience:
  • PhD or MS degree in Electrical Engineering, Physicsor Computer Science & Engineering
  • Excellent verbal and written communication
  • Have previously testified in deposition, trial,arbitrationor hearings
  • Excellent expert report writing skills to complement analytics
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities
  • Excellent listening, verbal, written, technical, and presentation skills
  • The desire to lead, auxiliary tasks associated with a growing practice within a rapidly growing firm
  • The ability to travelgloballyasneeded.
  • Experience with Power electronics, Industrial process control, consumer products, circuit analysis, control system is a plus
  • The ability to work odd hours to adjusttoclient needs globally
Pay Transparency

Compensation for this role will be based on a variety of factors, including experience, skills, and location. Further details will be provided during the hiring process.
