Job Description

The Project Scheduler II prepares summary-level and detailed schedules for proposed or current construction projects. Schedules will be prepared using bar chart or CPM format, as required by the project team or Client, using Primavera P6 Software. Provide updates as required for each project and schedule training and software support as needed. Responsible for ensuring all project scheduling activities comply with corporate standards and contractual requirements.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop, maintain, and update detailed project schedules using Primavera P6 or Microsoft Project.
  • Collaborate with project managers, engineers, and other stakeholders to gather schedule inputs and ensure alignment with project goals.
  • Monitor project progress and identify potential delays or risks; recommend mitigation strategies.
  • Prepare and present schedule reports, including critical path analysis, earned value metrics, and forecasting.
  • Support resource planning and workload analysis across multiple projects.
  • Ensure compliance with company standards and client requirements for schedule development and reporting.
  • Participate in project meetings and provide scheduling insights to support decision-making.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Construction Management, or related field is preferred
  • 3-5 years of experience in project scheduling, preferably in the AEC or life sciences industries.
  • Proficiency in Primavera P6 and/or Microsoft Project.
  • Strong understanding of project management principles and scheduling techniques.
  • Excellent analytical, organizational, and communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience with pharmaceutical, biotech, or advanced manufacturing projects.
  • Familiarity with Lean Construction or Integrated Project Delivery (IPD) methodologies.
  • PMP or PMI-SP certification is a plus.
