Job description

Sartorius has an onsite position available for a Facilities Technician at our Marlborough, MA site. In this role, you will be responsible for assisting with the maintenance and repair of the facility's infrastructure and equipment. This role involves supporting various aspects of the facility's operations to ensure a safe, efficient, and compliant working environment. You will work closely with the Facilities team to address any issues and perform preventive maintenance tasks.

Sartorius is advancing technologies that help researchers and scientists develop lifesaving medicines faster. To support this mission, we are seeking a Facilities Technician/Calibration Technician for our site in Marlborough, MA.

*Onsite role based at our Marlborough, MA site*

Grow with Us - Your Responsibilities:

    • Routine maintenance and repairs across HVAC, plumbing, electrical systems, and building infrastructure

    • Timely execution of maintenance requests and work orders

    • Participation in preventive maintenance programs to ensure reliable equipment performance and regulatory compliance

    • Documentation and tracking of maintenance and inspection activities in accordance with GMP and OSHA standards

    • Support of laboratory, office, and commonarea setup, including equipment installation and relocation

    • Operational support across multiple Sartorius facilities in the Marlborough area

    • Coordination with external vendors, including oversight of service quality and escalation of issues to the Facilities Manager

    • Accurate maintenance of work orders, equipment logs, and facility documentation

    • Reporting of facility issues or concerns to the Facilities Manager

    • Guidance and training of junior technicians, as well as support for facilityrelated projects and initiatives

What Will Convince Us:

  • High school diploma or GED; technical training or certifications beneficial

  • Experience (1+ years) in facilities maintenance, calibration, or general building operations-biotech/pharma experience advantageous

  • Ability to understand and interpret technical manuals, schematics, and blueprints

  • Strong analytical and problemsolving abilities with high attention to detail

  • Effective communication skills and ability to collaborate within a team environment

  • Physically able to lift, carry, climb, and perform handson technical work
