Job description

Required:

-active TS/SCI clearance

-PhD in chemistry, materials science, physics, biology, chemical engineering, biotechnology, biochemistry, or a related scientific or engineering discipline

-10+ years experience conducting, supporting, or evaluating advanced science and engineering R&D

-Experience evaluating emerging technology and conducting independent technical assessment

-Experience working with multidisciplinary teams across govt, industry, and academia

-Demonstrated ability to communicate complex technical concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences

-Exceptional written and verbal communication skills

-ability to manage multiple priorities and operate effectively in a fast paced R&D environment

Desired:

-Previous DARPA R&D experience

-previous SETA experience supporting advanced technology development programs

-experience supporting source selection, BAAs, or proposal evaluation

-experience authoring technical publications, strategic assessments, or executive level decision support products

-experience supporting advanced manufacturing, materials develop, chemistry, biotechnology, novel formulations, or related emerging technology areas

Required/desired FTE:

-minimum 50% FTE, up to full time
