PositionInformation

Responsibilities:

-Receive and process biological samples for research projects.

-Perform molecular laboratory procedures, including DNA extraction, qPCR assays, and data collection.

-Maintain accurate laboratory records and support timely completion of project objectives.

-Maintain laboratory supplies, reagents, and equipment.

-Support laboratory organization, equipment coordination, and compliance with institutional environmental health and safety requirements.

-Provide general research and laboratory support as needed.

-Perform additional duties and assist with special projects as assigned by the Principal Investigator.

Required Qualifications:

-Bachelor's in Entomology or a related biological science.

Preferred Qualifications:

-Master's in Entomology or a related biological science.

-Molecular bench work experience, handling samples for molecular processing, applied biotechnology, biochemistry analysis.

Required Skills, Knowledge or Abilities:

-Nucleic acid extraction, PCR and post-PCR molecular analysis.
