THE POSITION

As a Manufacturing Associate, you will be an integral part of Parse's growth, contributing to the expansion of our manufacturing capabilities by focusing on learning and performing manual and automated production processes for the manufacturing and kitting of our products. The ideal candidate will be a detail-oriented self-starter and operate with a team-first mindset. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in executing and improving our manufacturing processes to help us meet our production goals while adhering to established safety and quality standards.

IN THIS POSITION, YOU WILL
  • Manufacture and kit goods in a laboratory environment, maintaining strict adherence to written procedures and Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP)
  • Escalate observations to area management upon identification of potential issues in order to avoid downstream impacts
  • Perform scheduled and as-needed cleaning operations to sanitize work area, equipment, and lab supplies
  • Verify all required equipment and materials are in the proper condition and disposition status prior to beginning work
  • Accurately complete all required work documentation including, but not limited to, entering data into batch records, maintaining cleaning and maintenance logs, and initiating deviations and/or nonconformities
  • Assist with maintaining finished goods, work-in-progress, and raw material inventory levels
  • Support a safe work environment by following all PPE requirements and identifying any opportunities for improvement
  • Propose and perform revisions to procedures, batch records, work instructions, and other training materials to improve workflow and reduce potential for errors
  • Interact with support functions such as Quality Control and Supply Chain on activities required for manufacturing and testing
  • Perform root cause analyses using techniques such as the 6Ms and 5-whys
  • Identify and participate in continuous improvement initiatives that improve safety, quality, delivery, cost, or operational efficiency.
FOR THIS POSITION, WE LOOK FOR
  • Bachelor's degree in Biology, Chemistry, Biochemistry, or another related field, and
    • 0-2 years of hands-on laboratory experience in a medical device, biotechnology, or academic setting.
  • Demonstrated proficiency in standard productivity tools such as Word, Excel, and Outlook
  • Curiosity and willingness to adopt emerging technologies, including AI tools, to support task/workflow automation focused at increasing operational efficiency.
  • Great written and verbal communication skills
  • The ability to work both independently and in a team environment
JOB CONDITIONS
  • Must be able to work in a laboratory environment while wearing PPE consistent with the requirements of BSL-1, or, when applicable, BSL-2 laboratories
  • Standing for extended periods, and occasionally carrying and/or lifting up to 30 pounds is required
