Castle Biosciences Inc. is growing, and we are looking to hire a full-time Laboratory Technician,(Inventory & Equipment Support) working from our Phoenix, AZ office location, with a start date of May 1, 2026

A DAY IN THE LIFE OF A Lab Inventory Technician

The Laboratory Inventory Technician is a support position assisting the Lab team focusing on inventory and equipment management. This position is responsible for scheduling repairs and preventive maintenance, coordinating with vendors, and ensuring all required documentation is obtained and submitted to the QA team. Under supervision, the Laboratory Technician performs tasks requiring strong attention to detail, precision, and sound judgment to support efficient and compliant laboratory workflows. Key responsibilities include managing inventory of consumables and reagents within LIMS, overseeing shipping and receiving of supplies, processing invoices, and supporting sample management activities. In addition, this role provides general laboratory support to maintain organization, uphold quality standards, and ensure a safe and efficient working environment. The Laboratory Technician is essential to maintaining operational continuity, supporting workflow efficiency, and contributing to the accuracy and reliability of laboratory testing.

REQUIREMENTS

  • High school diploma or enrolled in college classes with excellent GPA.
  • MLT (AA) recommended, not required.
  • Familiarity with Microsoft Word and EXCEL
