Here you won't be just a number, but a key contributor who will make significant impact on our organization and the patients we support.Job OverviewThe Clinical Finance Analyst will serve as the primary finance partner to Clinical Development teams. This role is responsible for managing clinical trial budgets, forecasts, accruals, financial reporting, and vendor oversight while ensuring accurate financial tracking of ongoing and planned clinical studies.The position requires close collaboration with Clinical Research Organizations (CROs), investigators, and internal stakeholders to provide timely financial insights and support strategic decision-making throughout the clinical development lifecycle.ResponsibilitiesClinical Finance & Business PartneringPartner with Clinical Operations, Medical Affairs, and CROs to monitor ongoing and planned clinical studies.Develop and maintain clinical trial budgets, forecasts, and accruals.Track study spending against approved budgets and investigate significant variances.Review CRO, investigator, and clinical vendor invoices against contracts, milestones, and study progress.Monitor enrollment trends and study milestones to support forecasting and accrual calculations.Prepare monthly clinical spend reports and provide insights to management.Maintain oversight of clinical contracts, work orders, amendments, and vendor agreements.General Ledger & Financial ReportingSupport month-end and year-end close processes.Prepare and post journal entries, accruals, and account adjustments.Perform balance sheet reconciliations and maintain supporting schedules.Assist with GL review and financial statement preparation.Support internal and external audit requests and provide supporting documentation.Perform budget versus actual analyses and assist with forecasting activities.Accounts PayableCoordinate with Global Shared Services to ensure timely processing of vendor invoices.Review coding and approvals for clinical and non-clinical expenses.Monitor AP aging and ensure timely resolution of outstanding items.Reconcile AP subledger to the general ledger.Support employee reimbursement processing and vendor payment activities.Accounts Receivable & Gross-to-Net SupportAssist in the review of chargebacks, rebates, prompt pay discounts, and Medicaid transactions.Support customer deduction analysis and reconciliations.Monitor customer agreements and related financial impacts.Assist with AR reconciliations and month-end reporting requirements. Qualifications - Skills & Requirements3+ years of experience in accounting, finance, FP&A, or clinical finance.Pharmaceutical, biotechnology, healthcare, or CRO industry experience preferred.Strong understanding of general ledger accounting and financial reporting.Experience with budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis.Advanced Excel skills and familiarity with ERP systems.Strong analytical, communication, and organizational skills.Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
