    Description:

    Primary Function of Position
    The Learning Content Specialist is responsible for supporting the development and implementation of learning programs and deliverables according to department policies and procedures.

    Essential Job Duties:

    Upon onboarding and completing required certifications, the Learning Content Specialist will:

    • Collaborate within the team and with subject matter experts (SMEs) to develop or update learning content
    • Conduct peer review and QA of deliverables
    • Partner with content developers, LMS administrators, and Implementation Administrators to implement training content on Learning, ISU, and Seismic platforms
    • Ensure accurate tracking of training content throughout the implementation and translation process and provide regular status updates to CL&D teams
    • Identify, troubleshoot, and resolve technical issues that arise during the implementation and evaluation phases  
    • Identify opportunities to streamline the implementation process
    • Assist in evaluating learning content using a variety of qualitative and quantitative methods to drive design/development improvements

    Required Skills and Experience

    • 2-4 yrs. relevant professional experience
    • Ability to sign-off on applicable technical and/or clinical content
    • Experience designing and developing eLearning, instructor-led training, and assessments
    • Demonstrated application of adult learning theory
    • Excellent written and interpersonal communication skills
    • Experience working and collaborating with SMEs and other Instructional Designers to create learning content
    • Ability to work with instructional design processes, tools, and templates
    • Ability to prioritize multiple development projects and deadlines, and adapt to project changes
    • Strong organizational skills
    • Excellent attention to detail
    • Must provide work samples and/or portfolio

    Required Education and Training

    • College degree (Bachelors) or completion of relevant certificate/bootcamp
    • Software proficiency:
      • Articulate Rise
      • Articulate Storyline
      • Camtasia
      • MS Office (Word, PowerPoint, Excel)
      • Smartsheet or equivalent project management tool

    Preferred Skills and Experience  

    • Minimum 1-2 years of experience in biotech or medical device organization preferred
