Our client, a world leader in biotechnology and life sciences, is looking for an “ AI Product Manager - Data Science ”.

Job Duration: Long-Term Contract (Possibility Of Extension)

Rate: $85-$90/hr on W2

We are seeking aPrincipal Data Science/AI Product Managerto lead the strategy, roadmap, and delivery of innovative AI/ML products supporting Commercial, Medical, and Government Affairs. This role will partner with Data Science, Engineering, IT, and business leaders to develop AI-powered solutions that improve customer engagement, personalization, automation, and decision-making.

Key Responsibilities
  • Define AI/ML product vision, strategy, roadmap, and priorities.
  • Lead development of AI/ML and Generative AI product capabilities.
  • Create PRDs, product requirements, user stories, and prioritized backlogs.
  • Partner with Data Science, Engineering, IT, and business stakeholders.
  • Build business cases and demonstrate measurable ROI/business impact.
  • Drive experimentation, UAT, product launches, and post-launch optimization.
  • Manage internal and external technical teams and consultants.
  • Ensure responsible AI, governance, scalability, and compliance.
  • Communicate product strategy and progress to senior/executive stakeholders.
Required Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Data Science, Engineering, or related field.
  • 8+ yearsof combined Product Management, Data Science, AI/ML, or software development experience.
  • Hands-on knowledge ofAI/ML, Generative AI, NLP, or Deep Learning.
  • Proficiency inPython, R, Scala, or SQL.
  • Strong experience withPRDs, Agile/Scrum/Kanban, product roadmaps, a.
  • nd product lifecycle management.
  • Experience leading enterprise AI/ML strategy and cross-functional initiatives.
  • Strong executive communication and stakeholder management skills.
  • Understanding of cloud and enterprise architectures such asSaaS, PaaS, and IaaS.
Preferred
  • Advanced degree in AI, Data Science, Business, or related field.
  • Healthcare, pharmaceutical, biotech, or other regulated-industry experience.
  • Experience with Responsible AI, AI governance, model monitoring, scalability, and cost optimization.
  • Experience with user research/design thinking and digital transformation.
