If you care about moving a mission forward as much as advancing the field of data science, this is the opportunity for you. Your deep analytics, data science, AI, and machine learning expertise and consulting mindset, coupled with an original approach to your work, will help clients and stakeholders make sense of their data and encourage actionable results. We're looking for someone like you to lead complex data exploration and analytics projects through your experience with programming languages, operationalizing models, containerization, data architecture, and cloud computing platforms for Intelligence Community missions.
As an advanced data scientist and researcher on our team, you'll learn and apply innovative AI and machine learning methodologies to make a real-world impact on the Intelligence Community. You'll grow your skills in data science, AI, the machine learning operationalization process, and predictive modeling, and shape the future of analytics through a variety of means such as patents, peer-reviewed papers, major conference presentations, and code submissions.
We'll keep you sharp and moving forward in your career, with access to online courses, the latest tools and methods, and opportunities to publish or present at conferences. You Have:
  • 8+ years of experience correlating complex technical findings into graphical, written, visual, and verbal narrative products
  • 3+ years of experience using data science programming languages such as Python or R
  • Experience with version control tools, including Git, GitLab, GitHub, or Bitbucket
  • Experience leveraging mathematics, statistics, and data mining algorithms to analyze performance, proactively identify quality risks, and drive continuous process improvement
  • Ability to continuously review, evaluate, and update technical documentation to ensure alignment with evolving governance and program standards
  • Active TS/SCI clearance; willingness to take a polygraph exam
  • Bachelor's degree and 8+ years of experience with scientific techniques such as mathematics, statistics, information science, AI, machine learning, probability modeling, data mining, data engineering, or data warehousing, or 12+ years of experience with scientific techniques such as mathematics, statistics, information science, AI, machine learning, probability modeling, data mining, data engineering, or data warehousing, in lieu of a degree

Salary at Booz Allen is determined by various factors, including but not limited to location, the individual's particular combination of education, knowledge, skills, competencies, and experience, as well as contract-specific affordability and organizational requirements. The projected compensation range for this position is $99,000.00 to $225,000.00 (annualized USD). The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position and is just one component of Booz Allen's total compensation package for employees.
