Executive Role Overview

Pennoni is seeking a Chief Technology Officer (CTO) to serve as a key member of the Executive Leadership Team, working alongside the COO and Chief Growth Officer (CGO) to shape the firm's strategic direction and drive enterprise performance.

Reporting directly to the President & CEO, the CTO will lead the integration of technology, data, and innovation into all aspects of the business. This role combines executive-level strategy with hands-on execution across a complex, multi-office organization.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute firmwide technology and digital strategy aligned with business goals.
  • Lead enterprise digital transformation initiatives, including AI, automation, and data strategy.
  • Oversee IT operations, cybersecurity, cloud infrastructure, and enterprise systems.
  • Establish data as a strategic asset supporting operations and advisory services.
  • Partner with executive leadership to align technology with growth and operational priorities.
  • Drive process integration, standardization, and automation.
  • Build and lead high-performing technology and data teams.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field (Master's preferred).
  • 15+ years of progressive technology leadership experience, including executive oversight of enterprise systems, infrastructure, and information security
  • Demonstrated success developing and executing enterprise-wide technology strategies in a professional services, engineering consulting, or similarly complex operating environment
  • Strong knowledge of cybersecurity governance, risk management, incident response, identity and access management, business continuity, and data protection practices
  • Proven ability to deliver both strategic vision and operational execution.
