Our client is a biotechnology research company seeking a Receptionist to join their growing team!
Title: Receptionist/Admin Assistant
Location: Onsite Plano, TX
Schedule: Monday-Friday, 8am-5pm
Pay rate: $20-$22/hr (Plus benefits)
Contract to hire
Summary
The Receptionist is the first point of contact for visitors and employees, responsible for managing front desk operations, supporting office coordination, and maintaining a professional and organized environment. This role requires strong customer service skills, attention to detail, and the ability to problem-solve independently.
Key Responsibilities
  • Greet visitors, manage check-in/badging, and notify staff of arrivals
  • Handle front desk inquiries and incoming calls (low volume)
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization of lobby and common areas
  • Perform administrative tasks (filing, scanning, data entry, mail distribution)
  • Coordinate conference rooms and basic meeting setup
  • Monitor and track office supplies and submit inventory updates
  • Support facilities operations (vendor coordination, service tickets, copier support, pest control walkthroughs)
  • Assist with ad hoc office and administrative tasks

Qualifications
  • High school diploma or GED
  • 3-5 years of receptionist or administrative experience
  • Prior administrative assistant experience preferred
