Join Our Team as a Maternal-Fetal Medicine Physician

Key Responsibilities:
  • Perform both minor and major surgical procedures.
  • Prevent, diagnose, and treat a wide array of OB/GYN conditions.
  • Provide leadership and oversight to medical staff, including nurses, nurse practitioners, and medical assistants, ensuring compliance with established procedures and protocols.
  • Support the enhancement of technology to improve quality and patient experience while maintaining clinical standards.
  • Conduct patient examinations, gather medical histories, and order, perform, and interpret diagnostic tests.
  • Actively engage in internal quality improvement initiatives and collaborate with team members to implement proactive enhancements.
  • Primarily focus on outpatient care in the Maternal-Fetal Medicine role, with some inpatient consultations.
  • Work Monday through Friday in 8-hour shifts, supported by a highly skilled clinical team.
  • Manage high-volume ultrasound services, including interpreting fetal echocardiograms, first-trimester screenings, fetal anatomical surveys, and performing amniocentesis (CVS experience is a plus but not mandatory).
  • Interpret antenatal assessments, including NST and biophysical profiles.
Qualifications:
  • Board certified in General Obstetrics and Gynecology.
  • Board Certified or Eligible in Maternal-Fetal Medicine.
  • Previous experience in a Maternal-Fetal Medicine role is preferred.
  • Active Medical License in Maryland, Virginia, or DC is strongly preferred.
