What are Bionic Talent?

Bionic Talent typically refers to individuals or teams who blend human skills with advanced technology, such as artificial intelligence, automation, or robotics, to enhance their capabilities in the workplace. These professionals leverage both their own expertise and cutting-edge tools to solve complex problems, drive innovation, and improve productivity. The term is often used in the context of digital transformation, where organizations seek employees who can adapt to and maximize the use of emerging technologies. Bionic Talent is not a specific job title but a concept describing a new breed of tech-savvy, adaptable workers.

How does a Bionic Talent role typically integrate technology and human skills to drive results within a team?

In a Bionic Talent role, professionals are expected to blend advanced technological tools—such as AI-driven platforms or automation software—with their own expertise to optimize team performance and workflow. This integration often involves identifying opportunities for automation, streamlining processes, and supporting team members in adapting to new digital solutions. Collaboration is key, as Bionic Talent professionals work closely with both technical and non-technical colleagues to ensure that technology enhances, rather than replaces, human contributions. This approach not only improves efficiency but also fosters innovation and continuous improvement within the organization.

What are the key skills and qualifications needed to thrive as a Bionic Talent professional, and why are they important?

To thrive in a talent acquisition or recruitment role at Bionic Talent, you need a solid understanding of sourcing, evaluating candidates, and employing effective recruitment strategies, typically supported by experience in human resources or related fields. Familiarity with applicant tracking systems (ATS), LinkedIn Recruiter, and HR analytics tools is often required. Strong interpersonal skills, adaptability, and clear communication help build relationships with candidates and hiring managers. These skills are essential to attract top talent efficiently and ensure successful placements for both clients and organizations.

About Open Bionics
We are Open Bionics, a pioneering bionics company that designs, develops, and manufactures advanced bionic arms for people with upper-limb limb difference. Our flagship product, the Hero Arm, combines functional technology with expressive design to help more people access bionic devices that are both useful and empowering.
We have collaborated with some of the world's biggest entertainment brands, including Star Wars, Marvel, MrBeast, Twentieth Century Fox, and Konami, and have received multiple awards for innovation, including the Hanger Clinic Innovation Award. Visit our website to learn more: www.openbionics.com.
About the Role
We are looking for a campaign-minded storyteller to own story-driven demand campaigns that create measurable growth in awareness, engagement, and MQLs outside of product launches.
Within this role you will lead story sourcing, campaign briefs, PR angles, social content planning, and cross-channel rollout across PR, social, email, landing pages, and paid-support assets. You will work closely with Product Marketing, Design, creator and talent partners, paid media, events, and leadership to ensure stories and proof are packaged into demand moments that support launches and drive growth.
Key responsibilities
  • Lead story-driven demand campaigns from idea through rollout, with clear briefs, messaging, proof points, distribution plans, and performance goals.
  • Source and develop strong patient, clinician, partner, and creator stories that can be turned into campaign moments.
  • Conduct interviews and capture quotes, story angles, and proof points that strengthen campaigns, PR, landing pages, launch support, and paid creative.
  • Coordinate patient story capture across photo, video, and written formats, including shoot planning and collaboration with internal or external creative partners.
  • Package stories into cross-channel campaign assets across PR, social, email, landing pages, and paid-support content.
  • Develop PR angles, media hooks, and communications plans that can generate earned reach and MQL lift.
  • Own the social content strategy and calendar so social activity supports launches, campaigns, proof moments, and demand generation priorities.
  • Work closely with creator and talent partners to shape creator-led storytelling, social proof, product moments, and community trust-building content.
  • Partner closely with Product Marketing to amplify launches with stronger story, proof, and communications support.
  • Partner closely with Design and Creative to turn story briefs into high-quality visual campaigns.
  • Help shape landing-page proof, customer evidence, and trust-building assets that improve conversion.
  • Build and manage a campaign calendar focused on high-impact demand moments.
  • Track campaign performance and help determine what is creating awareness, engagement, earned reach, launch amplification, and MQL lift.
  • Build great relationships with our users and gather UGC for socials.

Qualifications
Required
  • 5+ years of experience in campaign marketing, content and communications, PR, brand storytelling, demand generation, or a closely related role.
  • Proven experience building and executing campaign-based content marketing programs, not just blogs, newsletters, or editorial calendars.
  • Strong experience turning customer or user stories into campaign assets that support awareness, engagement, lead generation, PR, or conversion.
  • Strong ability to write and edit campaign briefs, messaging frameworks, emails, web copy, interview summaries, story narratives, and light PR materials.
  • Experience building integrated campaigns across PR, social, email, landing pages, and paid-support assets.
  • Experience owning or shaping a social content strategy and calendar tied to larger campaign goals.
  • Exceptionally high emotional IQ and sensitivity.
  • Excellent communication with users and patients.
  • Strong PR and communications instincts, including the ability to find media angles, proof hooks, and emotionally resonant storylines.
  • Strong interviewing skills and the ability to extract compelling quotes, proof points, objections, and emotional insights from customers or users.
  • Strong commercial judgment around what is worth turning into a campaign moment versus what should remain supporting content.
  • Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple campaign workstreams in a fast-moving environment.
  • Comfortable working cross-functionally with product marketing, paid media, design, events, creators, and leadership.
  • Comfortable working in a lean team focused on speed, prioritization, and measurable impact.

Preferred
  • Experience supporting measurable demand generation or lead generation goals.
  • Experience supporting product launches with story-led campaign layers, proof assets, and earned or social amplification.
  • Experience coordinating patient, customer, or field story capture, including interviews, light shoot planning, quotes, and collaboration with photo/video production.
  • Experience developing PR angles, coordinating media outreach, and working with internal or external PR partners to turn stories into earned coverage.
  • Experience partnering with creators, influencers, ambassadors, or talent to build trust and reach.
  • Familiarity with email platforms, CMS tools, project management systems, and campaign reporting.
  • Comfortable using AI tools to accelerate drafting, research, repurposing, and campaign asset development while maintaining strong editorial judgment.
Benefits
  • 30 days of paid time off, including company holidays
  • One additional paid day off for major life events, such as moving or getting married
  • Company retirement plan
  • Wellness benefit, including up to 50% reimbursement for gym memberships, sports memberships, or fitness classes, up to $30 per month
  • Up to 50% reimbursement for approved professional development or accreditation costs
  • Collaborative team culture with regular social events
