Job Description:
Key Responsibilities:
"Project Manager" Local / Regional Business Projects (small): Facilitates the execution of project/program solution plan for complex projects or programs. Responsible for delivery of complex project/program plans. Supports the project/program management role (definition of schedule, budget, risk, change, opportunity and resource allocation management) for complex projects or programs.
Acts as a functional or business process resource on projects or programs.
Facilitates execution of continuous improvement plan.
May perform active role in maintaining client relationships and sales opportunities.
Experience: 4-8 years.
Knowledge: Certified as Project Manager: Manages (at least) medium projects and is expected to further run plans of same/higher complexity (or equal knowledge.
Responsibilities and Duties
• Lead and manage projects from initial assessment through implementation (commercialization)
• Coordinate cross-functional teams and external suppliers to ensure seamless execution of projects.
• Develop and maintain detailed project plans, timelines, and stakeholder communication strategies.
• Formulate project proposals
• Support strategic evaluations of potential projects and preparation of business cases.
• Oversee implementation processes, identify risks and opportunities, and provide actionable insights to leadership.
• Ensure compliance with internal procedures
Required Knowledge, Skills, Education and Experience
Bachelor's degree in engineering (such as mechanical, biomedical, software, or electrical) or other STEM degree (such as Biology, Chemistry, etc.)
• Sustaining R&D, R&D and/or Manufacturing engineering experience with the medical devices.
• Excellent project management capabilities with the ability to manage multiple high-stakes projects simultaneously.
• Must have excellent communication and interpersonal skills, ability to lead and work well with teams.
• Strategic thinker with strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Experience with project management tools (MS Project, Monday.com, Jira).
• Documentation skills, DHF experience.
• Professional certifications such as PMP, or equivalent are a plus.
• High level of integrity, discretion, and resilience under pressure.
• Strong business acumen and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
Experience Requirements:
  • Minimum 5+ years of project management experience.
  • Senior Engineer Project Manager
  • Engineering background preferred (ideally transitioned from engineering to PM).
  • Medical device industry experience strongly preferred.
  • Familiarity with design controls, change management, and multi-project environments.
