Internship Description:
  • Assist with the design and management of water and sewer infrastructure projects. Projects may include water distribution pipelines, water booster pump stations, water storage tanks, sewer collection pipelines, sewer pump stations, and other site utility improvements as needed.
  • Support project teams with preparation of construction drawings, drafting exhibits, development of cost estimates, coordination with manufacturers/vendors, and other engineering-related tasks.
  • Provide support to Water Design Center teams and regional engineering teams on a variety of planning, design, and construction-phase activities.
  • Position will include construction observation and field exposure on active construction sites, including time spent outdoors and coordination with contractors and field personnel.

Requirements:  
  • Must be pursuing an engineering degree from an ABET accredited program or an environmental science degree.

Work Environment
This is an in-office position; duties and responsibilities are generally performed in an office setting. Occasional travel to offsite locations to perform work and work-related tasks or to attend meetings may be required.
