Job description

Title: Biomed Equipment Technician 

Duration: 1 month, possible to extend  

Location: Kirkland, WA – Onsite Mon-Fri 8am to 4pm 

Compensation: $39-$49

Start Date: Sept 1, 2026

Interview process: 1 interview


Must Haves 

  • 2 years of experience with biomedical engineering or similar field supporting  
  • Previous experience working in a hospital/clinical environment  
  • Ability to work independently in a fast‐paced clinical setting 

Plusses 

  • Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Biomedical or Electrical Engineering 

  

Day-to-Day 

The Biomedical Equipment Technician I is responsible for performing basic maintenance, inspections, repairs, and safety testing on a variety of medical equipment used throughout the hospital. This role works closely with clinical staff to ensure equipment is operating safely and effectively to support patient care. BMET I technicians typically focus on preventive maintenance and routine troubleshooting while developing technical expertise under the guidance of senior technicians. 

 
Compensation:

$39/hr to $49/hr. 

Exact compensation may vary based on several factors, including skills, experience, and education. 

Benefit packages for this role will start on the 31st day of employment and include medical, dental, and vision insurance, as well as HSA, FSA, and DCFSA account options, and 401k retirement account access with employer matching. Employees in this role are also entitled to paid sick leave and/or other paid time off as provided by applicable law.
