Position Summary:
Troubleshoots, inspects, repairs, maintains and calibrates an advanced range of clinical equipment, devices, systems and instruments. ย Monitors, mentors and supports lower level BMET positions.

What You'll Do:
  • Formal training and preferred experience servicing clinical equipment.
  • Experience in a healthcare facility or healthcare setting.
  • Experience effectively repairing, maintaining and calibrating clinical devices such as, but not limited to:ย Servo U, I, V60s, Trilogy EV300 Ventilators,ย GE Anesthesia or Training, OR exp., Telemetry preferred.
  • Leadership experience with mentoring.ย 
  • Proactive thinking skills to troubleshoot
  • Strong communication, time management, and customer service skills: ability to provide world class service to healthcare customers.
What You Bring:
  • Preferably 7-10 years of experience in electronic, mechanical or electro-mechanical repair in a health care technology setting
  • Basic knowledge of networking theory
  • Considerable knowledge of electronic circuitry and technical aspects of the operation, repair and maintenance of electronic equipment
  • Substantial knowledge of basic anatomy, physiology, and medical terminology
  • Ability to interpret schematics, wiring diagrams, and illustrated parts drawings of biomedical instrumentation and skill in testing electronic equipment as well as in manual dexterity, hand-to-eye coordination, and color vision.

  • Inspect, maintain, repair and calibrate equipment and systems.
  • Ensures regulatory compliance.

  • Minimum Functional Experience - 7 years of experience in electronic, mechanical or electro-mechanical repair in a health care technology setting.
