Job description

Corewell Health, Royal Oak, Michigan. NO VISA SPONSORSHIP OFFERED FOR THIS POSITION. Diagnoses problems on diagnostic and therapeutic medical imaging equipment; Repairs equipment or establishes a service plan; Performs technical evaluations during RFP and purchase process; Performs calibration, electrical, mechanical and radiation safety inspections and equipment acceptance testing; Manages and performs Preventative and Corrective Maintenance. Requires: Bachelor's or foreign equiv. in biomedical engineering or related, plus 36 mths of experience as a biomed. engineer or related. Above experience must include 3 yrs: 1) installing, commissioning, and maintaining Siemens diagnostic imaging equipment, including CT, ultrasound, MRI, nuclear medicine, angiography, Interventional Radiology, and radiation therapy equipment; 2) hands-on repair work at the component level; and 3) performing technical evaluation of diagnostic medical equipment during RFP and purchase process. #LI-DNI
