Position Summary

The Killeen Texas office has an opening for a Research Engineer Intern starting the Fall Semester 2026. This is a part-time position requiring 10-29 hours per week. The work will be performed in the Trideum offices on the TAMUCT campus, Warrior Hall, room 308. The person in this role will research and analyze customer behavior, existing capabilities, and competitive landscapes to support strategic decision-making and product development for US Army Operational Evaluation Command (OEC) located on Fort Hood.

The applicant must have strong interpersonal skills and possess an understanding of various Microsoft Products such as SharePoint, Teams, Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint. Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to present complex information in a clear and concise manner is desired.

What Youll Do

  • Understand the customer, their mission, and their current capabilities.
  • Analyze the customers existing and planned capabilities to identify growth areas.
  • Translate customer insights into actionable recommendations for product enhancement and feature development.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather customer feedback and insights.
  • Develop reports and presentations to communicate research findings to stakeholders.
  • Collaborate with program management team to optimize product positioning and messaging.

Requirements and Qualifications

  • Pursuing a degree in Business Administration or Engineering.
  • Strong analytical skills with proficiency in data analysis tools such as Excel and SQL.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office, SharePoint, Teams, and Outlook.
  • Some experience as a research analyst or similarly related field.
  • Must be a US citizen.
