Job description

The MedTech Strategy Consulting Intern will support the growth and development of the IQVIA MedTech Consulting and Patient Access organization. IQVIA partners with leading medical technology companies to help them bring innovative products from concept to market, leveraging deep healthcare expertise, robust data assets, and strategic insight.

This internship is designed for individuals early in their careers who are curious about the MedTech industry and interested in gaining hands-on exposure to consulting. Interns will work closely with experienced consultants and managers, contributing to client engagements through research, analysis, and presentation support while developing foundational consulting and healthcare industry skills.

Key Responsibilities

Support project teams by conducting secondary research on markets, technologies, competitors, and healthcare trends

Assist with analyzing qualitative and quantitative data to help answer client business questions

Help synthesize findings into clear insights, summaries, and slides for client presentations

Contribute to the preparation of reports, presentations, and other client deliverables

Participate in team meetings and internal discussions to learn consulting problem-solving approaches

Support consultants with project organization, work plans, and timelines

Develop a foundational understanding of the MedTech industry, including providers, patients, payers, and regulatory dynamics

Learn how IQVIA data assets and analytics are used to inform strategic decision-making

Assist with internal initiatives such as knowledge development or recruiting activities, as needed

Qualifications:

Currently pursuing or recently completed a Bachelor's degree (or equivalent) in biomedical engineering, life sciences, engineering, public health, economics, or a related field

A demonstrated interest in healthcare, MedTech, consulting, or strategy

Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with attention to detail

Clear written and verbal communication skills

Ability to work collaboratively in a team-based environment

Willingness to learn, ask questions, and take feedback

Strong organizational and time-management skills

Basic proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, PowerPoint, Excel); advanced skills are a plus but not required

Professionalism, curiosity, and a positive attitude

The potential base pay range for this role, when annualized, is $26,500.00 - $66,100.00. The actual base pay offered may vary based on a number of factors including job-related qualifications such as knowledge, skills, education, and experience; location; and/or schedule (full or part-time). Dependent on the position offered, incentive plans, bonuses, and/or other forms of compensation may be offered, in addition to a range of health and welfare and/or other benefits.
