BioMechanics Orthopedics Services Inc. is seeking a dedicated and skilled Full-Time Physical Therapist to join our team in Reston, Virginia. This role is vital to our mission of helping our patients reclaim their movement, enhance their quality of life, and achieve their individual health goals.

BioMechanics Orthopedics Services Inc. is a leading orthopedic outpatient practice located in a cutting-edge rehabilitation facility in Reston, VA. Our modern 5,000 square feet sports medicine facility is equipped with state-of-the-art technology and resources aimed at providing the highest level of care to our patients. This practitioner will work onsite in our well-appointed rehabilitation facility, which nurtures a patient-friendly environment designed to promote recovery and wellness. The work schedule is Monday to Friday from 9 AM to 5 PM, allowing for a balanced work-life experience. The practice emphasizes a patient-centric approach and boasts a dedicated team of physical therapists who collaborate to provide personalized treatment programs.

• Assess and identify patient goals and needs to craft impactful rehabilitation strategies.
• Maintain a healthcare approach that allows for individualized patient treatment, averaging one patient per hour.
• Utilize a comprehensive understanding of orthopedic outpatient care through evidence-based practice.
• Implement cost-effective therapeutic interventions that promote motion improvement and prevent further injury.
• Prioritize non-surgical alternatives by minimizing medication reliance and fostering natural healing.
• Design and execute customized treatment plans employing various interventions, manual therapy, and therapeutic exercises.
• Motivate patients throughout their treatment journey, reinforcing their commitment to achieving personal health milestones.
• Promote physical activity and lifestyle modifications, enhancing strength, flexibility, and stability.
• Maintain thorough documentation of patient progress and treatment provided, utilizing electronic medical record (EMR) systems such as WebPT.
• Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure holistic patient care and improvement.
• Regularly assess treatment efficacy, monitor advancements, and adjust plans as necessary to provide the best outcomes.

Our patient demographic primarily consists of individuals insured by private medical plans, emphasizing a diverse range of orthopedic conditions. We cater to clients from various backgrounds, focusing on their rehabilitation to improve movement and functionality. The therapist's role is significant in driving positive patient outcomes by leveraging specialized knowledge in orthopedic physical therapy.

• Possess a Doctor of Physical Therapy (DPT) degree.
• Holds a valid license to practice as a Physical Therapist in Virginia.
• No disciplinary actions have been taken against the license.
• Strong manual therapy skills and techniques to facilitate effective treatment.
• Competency in developing targeted exercise routines tailored to individual patient needs.
• Familiarity with EMR systems such as WebPT and demonstrated ability to navigate and utilize their functionalities efficiently.

• Previous experience in orthopedic outpatient settings preferred.
• Proven track record of developing successful treatment plans and implementing them effectively.

The salary for this position ranges from USD 90,000 to USD 110,000 annually, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
