The main goal is to gain hands-on skills, apply classroom knowledge to real-world situations, and explore potential career paths within biology. Interns often assist with experiments, data analysis, fieldwork, or administrative tasks, depending on the host organization. These internships can be paid or unpaid and usually last from a few weeks to several months.
