Job Overview

As an Analyst for our Bioanalysis team located at the Laval site, you will be involved in the analysis of samples using various techniques to evaluate the safety of a compound.

In this role, primary responsibilities include:

  • Conduct technical assays using various extraction techniques (protein precipitate extraction, solid phase extraction) and LC-MS/MS to quantify molecules of interest;
  • Handle and analyze biological samples;
  • Validate the analysis of samples, in a multidisciplinary laboratory using a variety of extraction techniques, manual assays, automated equipment and analytical instruments;
  • Work closely with the Scientific team.

If you have the following qualifications, we'll train you for the rest:

  • No experience in Science and/or Laboratory is required;
  • High School diploma;
  • AEC or DEC in Biotechnology is an asset;
  • Team player with a collaborative and positive approach;
  • Strong observation & organizational skills;
  • Open-minded and willing to learn in a laboratory environment.

Role Specific Information:

 

  • Location: 445 Boul. Armand-Frappier, Laval, QC, H7V 4B3;
  • Transportation: Free parking. Near the Montmorency Subway. Electric vehicle charging station;
  • Salary: $23.75/hrs
  • Annual bonus based on performance;
  • Schedule: Monday to Friday, 8am to 4:15pm. Depending on the business needs, you may have to do overtime, weekends or holidays;
  • Permanent position as of the hiring, full-time 37.5hrs per week.
