About the Position: This vacancy is for a Biologist position within the Regulatory Branch in either the Rock Island, IL or Saylorville, IA locations of the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers. This position will be filled at the full performance level GS-0401-11.Qualifications:

Specialized Experience for GS-11: One year of specialized experience which includes: reviewing a range of environmental principles, regulations, policies, procedures, laws, and techniques sufficient to insure that work is in compliance with applicable legal standards and other requirements and that such work is implemented in an environmentally sustainable manner; AND using skills sufficient to identify interpret, and evaluate a variety of factors and related natural, cultural and social conditions, and to prepare environmental documentation or similar analyses, such as those conducted under the National Environmental Policy Act, Section 404(b)(1) Guidelines, Endangered Species Act, and National Historic Preservation Act.
This definition of specialized experience is typical of work performed at the second lower grade/level position in the federal service (GS-09).
