The Staff Scientific Product Marketing Manager for the spatial proteomics portfolio shapes market strategy and drives commercial success for Bruker's spatial proteomics platforms by bridging science, product strategy, and gotomarket execution. With deep understanding of spatial proteomics, multiplex immunofluorescence, multiomics workflows, and translational research use cases, the Sr. Scientific Product Marketing Manager translates complex technical capabilities into clear, differentiated value propositions for pharma, biotech, and academic researchers, defining positioning, crafting the narrative, and equipping commercial teams with scientifically credible messaging, as well as developing and executing content pieces to communicate the product stories. The role works crossfunctionally with R&D, product management, commercial teams, and leadership to champion customer needs and advance adoption of the CellScape and GeoMx platforms. Responsibilities

Key Responsibilities:

• Product Positioning & Messaging: Partner with Product Management and cross-functional teams to develop compelling positioning and messaging for the CellScape and GeoMx platforms. Clearly articulate each product's value proposition and ensure consistent, accurate, and up-to-date messaging across all marketing channels. Maintain message integrity and alignment over time, minimizing inconsistencies across regions, campaigns, and content types.  

• Campaign & Content Execution: Execute integrated campaigns that support global marketing programs. Coordinate the development of content and creative assets, including social and digital materials, and manage release timing across channels. Monitor campaign performance and optimize based on engagement metrics and channel insights. Collaborate with marketing programs to deploy content through an omnichannel approach. 

• Go-to-Market & Lead Activation: Translate go-to-market strategies into actionable marketing plans that drive qualified leads and support sales pipeline growth. Manage lead generation efforts across campaigns, webinars, and events, including audience targeting and list sourcing from associations, conferences, and external partners. 

• Sales Enablement: Equip the commercial team with the tools, training and resources needed to effectively communicate the value of Bruker Spatial Biology products. Support the sales process by tailoring content to specific buyer personas and stages of the customer journey, helping to accelerate deal velocity and improve win rates.  

• Competitive Analysis and Market Research: Evaluate competitors' products, messaging, customers, publications, market share, features, and customer perceptions to gain actionable insights that inform strategic decisions and shape the messaging and positioning of Bruker Spatial Biology products. Provide periodic updates to the commercial team on recent developments from the competitors.  

• Performance Tracking & Reporting: Track and report on the performance of marketing initiatives. Analyze key metrics such as lead volume, conversion rates, and return on investment (ROI) to guide future program improvements. 

Qualifications

Qualifications:

• Education: Advanced degree (MS or PhD) in life sciences, molecular biology, immunology, oncology, or a related field required.

• Scientific Expertise: Strong working knowledge of molecular biology, sequencing, proteomics and multiomics approaches (RNA/protein), and spatial biology. Familiarity with spatial proteomics and high-plex proteomics technologies is highly desirable.
• Marketing & Commercial Experience: 3-7+ years of experience in product marketing, product management, applications, or related commercial roles in the life sciences/tools industry. Experience developing product positioning, messaging, and gotomarket strategies for scientific instruments, assays, or software. Proven ability to partner with sales and applications teams to support field enablement and customer engagement.
• Strategic & Analytical Skills: Ability to translate complex scientific concepts into clear, differentiated value propositions for multiple audience types. Strong market and competitive analysis skills and experience identifying customer needs and emerging trends. Demonstrated success in driving crossfunctional alignment and influencing without authority.
• Communication & Content Development: Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, with ability to craft scientific yet commercially relevant materials. Experience developing marketing collateral, campaigns, presentations, and digital content is a plus.
• Collaboration & Leadership: Effective at working across R&D, product management, sales, applications, and leadership teams. Ability to manage multiple projects, prioritize effectively, and drive initiatives from concept to execution.
• Other Preferred Experience: Background working with biopharma, biotech startups, CROs, or translational research groups. Willingness to travel for customer visits, conferences, and internal company events, up to 15%.

At Bruker, base salary is part of our total compensation. The estimated base salary range for this full-time position is between $108,000 and $173,000 provides an opportunity to progress as you grow and develop within a role. The base salary for the role will depend on a several job-related factors, including, but not limited to education, training, experience, the geographic location of the successful candidate, skills, competencies, job-related knowledge and travel requirements for this position.
